I purchased this bike from K-Mart in the mid-1990’s. My wife picked it out with the intention of joining me on some rides in the country, but neither of us really followed through on that. She’s only ridden it a few times, and I’ve ridden it a few times as well.

Frankly, it’s not a very good quality bike. It’s rather heavy (36 pounds, 1 ounce), doesn’t shift well, and doesn’t brake well. I’ve tried to adjust it, but haven’t had much success improving either the shifting or the braking. Given how little it’s used, I haven’t taken it to a bike shop to have it professionally adjusted.

The bike has 18 speeds, with Shimano SIS shifters, front derailleur, and rear derailleur. Both the front and rear brakes are dual-pivot centerpull brakes. It has no suspension. It does have a water bottle cage (and bottle), which is the extent of its accessories.

It’s a POS, and I should get rid of it, but for now it’s still hanging in my garage…
