BentRider Online is reporting on a new recumbent bicycle from Sun, the Tomahawk, which looks pretty interesting.

I own a Sun EZ-Sport, which is a good machine, if rather heavy. The Tomahawk looks like it should be a lot lighter. It’s a monotube design (based off the Easy Racers Javelin), so there’s less metal than the EZ-Sport. The seat appears to be the same, but the handlebar is different – it looks to use an adjustable and flexible design similar to my Burley Django, rather than the fixed “superman” handlebars of the EZ-Sport.

And the price is right: $999 (compared to the Javelin for $1595).
