Today is supposed to be nice (about 80°F), then the rest of the week is supposed to get much cooler (around 50°F high Wednesday thru Saturday), so I figured I better get some miles in while I can.

I started off thinking I’d do the Bucyrus route, then changed my plan on-the fly twice before finally settling on the Hillsdale route. This route has a few hills around Hillsdale lake, but is rather scenic as it crosses the northern end of the lake, then heads north to Gardner, then back east and home.

I had a fairly stiff wind out of the south, so getting to Hillsdale was a bit of a slog, but the north-bound leg was a breeze. The last bit was several miles of crosswind, then one mile with a headwind. The total route was a bit over 37 miles, so by the time I made it home I was fairly toasted.

Still my longest ride of the year, and a fun one!
